About the Show:

Taking place in Zoom Space, dist[Sense] is a virtual performance for one audience-participant and one performer-participant, exploring moments of connection, isolation, and the ways in which we can come together to experience across time and space. Conceived by Naomi Bennett* and developed collaboratively with N. Eda Erçin*, Irina Kruchinina*, Greg Langner*, Johanna Middleton*, and Cynthia Sampson, with graphic design by Ethan Hunter. *Performing on a rotating basis. dist[Sense] is presented by the Department of Communication Studies at Louisiana State University, as part of the HopKins Black Box 2020-2021 season. dist[Sense] is a performance experience without dialog. On the day of your experience please wear clothing that allows you to move to your own ability. A quiet space is recommended, a video connection is required. PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-on-one performance and last minute cancellations might mean a missed opportunity for someone else to experience dist[Sense]. Therefore, cancellations must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling cannot be guaranteed and will be dependent on availability.
