Thomas’ 20 minute debut short film, Zombie won Best Director at the California Film Awards and was an Official Selection at several film festivals, including the Cleveland International Film Festival, Boston International Film Festival, New York Downtown Short Film Festival, and Washington D.C. Independent Film Festival, where it won Best Short Film.
